Your mission

As a Working Student in AI Engineering, you support the development and operation of AI-powered products for the finance industry.

You work at the intersection of software, data, and AI — evaluating model performance, building automations, and contributing to scalable solutions for real-world use cases while gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies.

Evaluation & Data

Build and run evaluation pipelines for LLM-based systems
Analyze metrics, identify edge cases, and track quality
Create and maintain Golden and Silver datasets
Work with evaluation frameworks and tools (like Langfuse)

Engineering & Automation

Develop Python scripts for AI workflows (APIs, data processing, monitoring)
Support maintenance and improvement of existing systems

Collaboration

Work closely with engineering teams to improve system quality
Contribute proactively to technical challenges

Your profile

What You Bring

Enrolled student in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
Solid Python skills beyond notebooks
Experience with REST APIs (JSON, authentication)
Basic ML understanding
Git workflow experience
Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs (both code and data)
Problem-solving mindset
Very good English knowledge, knowledge of German is an advantage

Nice to Have

Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
Vector databases (e.g. Qdrant)
AI coding assistants
