Als Finanzbuchhalter spielst Du eine zentrale Rolle in der Betreuung unserer Kundenportfolios im Bereich Alternative Investments. Du sorgst für die korrekte und effiziente Abwicklung aller Buchhaltungsprozesse – von der automatisierten Verbuchung im System bis hin zur Erstellung konsolidierter Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach verschiedenen Rechnungslegungsvorschriften.
In Deiner Rolle agierst Du als verlässlicher Ansprechpartner für Kunden und deren Investoren, Wirtschaftsprüfer und Steuerberater und stellst die reibungslose Durchführung von Zahlungen, Kapitalabrufen und Ausschüttungen sicher. Mit Deiner Expertise trägst du maßgeblich zur Transparenz, Genauigkeit und Compliance unserer Finanzprozesse bei und arbeitest eng mit anderen Fachbereichen zusammen, um Abläufe kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Zu Deinen Aufgaben gehören:

Betreuung von Kundenportfolien ausgewählter Kunden
Anlage und Überprüfung der automatisierten Buchungsprozesse in unserem System eFront, inklusive Anlage von Konten und Kontenrahmen
Erstellung konsolidierter Quartalsabschlüsse von Fonds nach verschiedenen Rechnungslegungsvorschriften
Durchführung des Zahlungsverkehrs inklusive Buchung von Bankbelegen
Eigenständige Klärung und Abstimmung der Sach- und Personenkonten inklusive Fremdwährungsbewertung und Stammdatenpflege
Abwicklung von Kapitalabrufen und Ausschüttungen für die Investoren der Fonds
Abstimmung der Quartalsabschlüsse mit der Abteilung Portfolio Reporting
Erstellung von Dokumentationen für externe Abschlussprüfer
Ansprechpartner für Wirtschaftsprüfer und Steuerberater
Vorbereitung der Jahresabschlüsse

Dein Profil

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Steuerfachangestellte:r, Finanzbuchhalter:in oder geprüfte:r Buchhalter:in
Berufserfahrung im Bereich Finanzdienstleistungen
Gute Kenntnisse im Handelsrecht
Anwenderkenntnisse in gängigen Buchhaltungssystemen, idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit Buchungsprozessen in einem Investment Management System (eFront, Investran, SimCorp Dimension, etc.)
Sicherer Umgang mit den MS Office Anwendungen, insbesondere Excel
Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Hohes Maß an Dienstleistungsorientierung gegenüber unseren Kunden
Sie zeichnen sich durch Selbständigkeit, Gewissenhaftigkeit und Flexibilität ebenso aus wie durch Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit

Your mission

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial accounting of our clients’ portfolios in the field of Alternative Investments. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient accounting processes – from automated postings in our system to the preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements under different accounting standards.
In this role, you will act as a reliable partner for clients, auditors, and tax advisors, while ensuring the smooth execution of payments, capital calls, and distributions. With your expertise, you will contribute to transparency, accuracy, and compliance in our financial processes and work closely with other departments to continuously improve workflows. Your tasks:

Handling of client portfolios of selected clients
Creation and verification of automated booking processes in our eFront system including creation of accounts and account systems
Preparation of consolidated quarterly financial statements of funds according using various accounting standards
Handling of payment transactions including booking of bank documents
Independent clarification and reconciliation of accounts including foreign currency valuation and master data maintenance
Processing capital calls and distributions for the funds' investors
Reconciliation of quarterly financial statements in the department with the Portfolio Reporting
Preparation of documentations for external auditors
Contact person for auditors and tax advisors
Preparation of the annual financial statements

Your profile

Successfully completed training as a tax clerk, financial accountant or certified accountant
Professional experience in the area of financial services
Good knowledge of commercial law
User knowledge of common accounting systems, experience with accounting processes in an investment management system (eFront, Investran, SimCorp Dimension, etc.)
Confident handling of MS Office applications, in particular Excel
Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
High degree of service orientation towards our clients
Autonomy, conscientiousness and flexibility as well as communication and team skills
